She supports policies that help freeze property taxes for senior homeowners, providing financial relief to those who have lived in the community for decades.

As a mom of 2 college aged daughters and an experienced youth development advocate, Michele understands that high quality public education is the foundation of healthy communities. Michele will support and invest in our schools, stand up for educators, and expand youth programs. Michele will work hard to protect funding for school breakfast and lunch programs, and stand strong against federal cuts that put children and families at risk.

Michele supports more police funding and will block efforts to defund the police. She will fight gun violence by backing the ban on assault weapons and untraceable ghost guns, get illegal guns off the street, and toughen penalties on criminals who bring in guns from nearby states.
